What Can I Do?
Reduce
- Purchase products that are packaged in recycled or recyclable material
- Purchase products with minimal packaging materials
- Use a mulching mower blade
- Avoid purchasing disposable items such as razors and food containers when reusable options are available
- Purchase long-lasting appliances and keep them well-maintained

Reuse
- Purchase reusable canvas shopping bags for groceries
- Reuse the back of used paper for scratch paper
- Use rechargeable batteries
- Use newspaper as packing material
